Manchester Ambassadors Networking Event

Springboard Ambassador Networking Event 

The Manchester Springboard Ambassadors gathered together on the 30th April 2009 with 11 Ambassadors attending. 

Kindly hosted by The Manchester College, with presentations from Springboard, Visit Manchester and The Manchester College, the Ambassadors shared the activities that they had been involved in and networked with one and other sharing best practice.

The evening was rounded up with a delicious four course Mediterranean influenced meal prepared and served in the Bistro Restaurant, the training restaurant at The Manchester College, by the students studying there.  Dishes included a Greek Salad to start, mint tea sorbet, Pan fried fillet of red snapper with small octopus and mixed bean stew, with Mediterranean vegetables for the main and sweet mascarpone mousse with grilled figs in honey and ginger sauce to finish.

The food and service was excellent and the students are a credit to the college.

 Many Thanks go to Clare Wharton, Divisional Leader for Hospitality and Catering at The Manchester College for kindly hosting the event, Joanne Wood and Nicola Trotter from Visit Manchester and of course to all of you the Manchester Springboard Ambassadors for your participation.
